This is a luxury beach house designed by Neeson Murcutt Architects, this home built to vacation at the weekend, by a large family. Designed with three storey, with wooden walls. And the outdoor living space on the terrace, to enjoy the landscape of the beach. Wooden floors in the home interior, with the large glass windows for capturing sunlight into the house, and the increasingly warm with wood furniture.
Description from Architects:
The house is an extended family weekender organised over three levels that terrace with the slope. The project explores proximity and distance, invoking the special dualities of the site – the rock outcrops and native forest behind are given equal consideration to the front coastal panorama. Each room is considered almost autonomously, coordinated with site and view. Outdoor living spaces at each level are equally varied – house and landscape are integral. It is finely detailed and built by exceptional tradespeople.
