Classic Summer Beach House
Classic Summer Beach House
The front entrance of this summer residence and you might be thinking the house is part of the original neighborhood. This is because architect John MacDonald and project designer Gregory Graham have designed a number of exterior details that are reminiscent of a traditional seaside vernacular.
A subtle nautical theme, in keeping with the location, is apparent throughout the interior. The mahogany paneling and wood floors in the kitchen give this room a cabin feel, like a ship’s galley. On the same floor as the main living areas, but in a completely separate area of the house, is the master suite. At the other end of the home, a curved sunroom navigates the progression from the traditional street facade around to the side of the house that faces the Atlantic Ocean. via trendsideas
