The residence is contained in a simple wooden envelope delineated by steel structural elements that allow the house to open inward onto a central stone court and reflection pool.

This is a sustainable house wich incorporated the Active systems to complete the overall environmental systems package. These active systems include solar hot water panels which provide all of the domestic hot water needed for the house. Photovoltaic panels on the roof generate enough electricity to feed back into the power grid, while radiant flooring produces efficient heating in the winter.
